On September 11th, 5:30 pm at the Main Branch Library of the Ouachita Parish Public Library, State Archivist Bill Stafford will give a talk about the Dr. E. Russ Williams collection. When Dr. Williams passed away, his collection of research was given to the State Archives and Mr. Stafford took on the task of going through it. Come hear about what was included and how you can access his materials yourself!
Ouachita Parish History Tidbits 
I wish I could be there to hear the presentation about the E. Russ Williams material. Dr. Williams took me on a tour around West Monroe many years ago during the time he was writing his books about the Ouachita Parish families. He used a lot of material I provided about my Ouachita connections.
