Pine Street, Monroe, Circa 1907

This is a rare postcard photo from the Library Collection (Photo number 334) showing the fine homes that once ran along Pine Street. I love the little boy on the tricycle! There are trolley tracks down the street so this was taken after they were installed in 1906. If you compare this one with the June 13, 2019 photo I posted, you will notice some of the same houses. It looks as if the photographer just stepped up the street a little ways and snapped another photo!
