DeSiard Street circa 1910

Imagine getting stuck behind this caravan in rush hour traffic! William A. Bozone’s Grocery is the building on the left. According to the 1912 City Directory, it was located at 339 DeSiard Street. On the far right, upper corner, you can make out the tower of the City Market (where People’s Homestead building is now). None of the buildings in this photo are still standing.
