This breaks my heart and fascinates me at the same time. Using the 1924 city directory, I was able to determine that the wallpaper store on the right was located at 333 DeSiard Street. I pulled up the modern Google Street image and was just blown away. Except for the big building on the left (ONB building, now the Vantage building), every single building in this image is GONE. perhaps the biggest loss being the Sanger theater there in the middle on the right. Most of this view now is a parking lot. Progress. I like the trolley tracks going down the center of the street!
