Groundbreaking of G.B. Cooley TB Sanitarium

I went on vacation last week and on the way I stopped at the LSU library to look through a few Ouachita Parish things they had.

The above photo shows the groundbreaking for G.B. Cooley Tuberculosis Sanitarium. The men are identified as left to right: Albin Lassiter, W.H.D. Rodriguez, H.A. McDonald, Curtis ? [handwriting hard to make out] , (W.P.A. Foreman), Louis Rolleigh, Joe Marx, Capt. [G.B.] Cooley, Grayson Guthrie, Sr. and Fred Williamson.

The photo was dated March, 1934 at “Pine Top”.
