The following picture was found in the December 21, 1930 Monroe Morning World.
I’ll admit, I had never heard of this church. I was thinking this might be New Chapel Hill, but I believe that is incorrect. I found an obituary for a woman who had been a faithful member of the church and was “…buried there.” The cemetery she is buried in is McCormick. There is a church next to it called, Amazing Grace Worship Center. Could that be the site of this former church?
