The Pow Wow Online

How many of you former NLU/ULM students remember the student newspaper called the Pow Wow? Did you ever want to go back and read some of the articles? Maybe you have a relative or friend who’s name appeared in one of the columns. Well, you are in luck! The Special Collections Department at the ULM Library has gotten a grant* to digitize all the old issues of the Pow Wow, starting with the first one in 1931! They are up to 1980 and are linked here: https://repository.ulm.edu/pow_wow/.

*Required legal jargon here: “Funding for this Rebirth grant has been provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and administered by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities (LEH) as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act economic stabilization plan.”
