My Mom received from a sister, a box of her father’s papers from the late 1960’s. He lived in a small town in Central Louisiana. While going through them, I found a couple of Monroe related ones. This first one was a receipt from the Monroe News-Star/Morning World, dated 1968. Looks like they subscribed to the Morning World for six months.
