1939 Christmas Fiesta Parade on DeSiard Street

These last two parade photos I will share show the parade as it was passing by the Style Shop. The first one shows a Drum Major leading her band! I ADORE this one!

This second one is a little creepy. It appears to be two persons in some kind of clown costume!

Somethings caught my eye when looking at these two and some of the other parade photos on the Digital Library. I don’t think I have ever seen that close up a photo of the old Trolley line tracks! They would be taken up just a few years later for the war effort during WWII.
