One of the rarest items we have in the Special Collections department of the library, is a cookbook from around 1905. At least, judging from the names and business advertisements, that is when it dates to. I have never seen another one of these. I have recommended it to be digitally scanned so it can be preserved, but the problem is, it is so fragile. My boss, who is also the head of Special Collections, Cynthia Robertson, took a photo of the cover and one of the recipes for a patron.
