I have always been told it was Jack Howard’s idea to “revitalize” downtown by adding more parking. Then the Twin City Mall came and put the final nail in the coffin. LikeLike Reply
To me, the train station was iconic. I met my dad there when he came home from WWII. I left from there when I went overseas in 1963. The Paramount was a place we all went for the Saturday picture shows and serials. LikeLiked by 1 person
