Monroe City High School 1915 Girl Graduate

This is a great piece of Monroe History! The ULM library has this little gem they have digitized on the Digital Library: https://www.louisianadigitallibrary.org/islandora/object/ulm-p15140coll27%3A536 It is a yearbook of sorts from a Class of 1915 Senior at Monroe City High School, Neva Agnes Breese (later Jones). MCHS wouldn’t get a yearbook until the 1920’s, so a lot of girls made their own (of sorts). This was a memory book where you could paste photos, write autographs, etc. As a matter of fact, I have one for my senior year! This is chocked full of photos, programs and autographs from that era. You may recognize a few things!
