What you are looking at is a view up DeSiard street circa 1920. It is the 200 block of DeSiard. To get a sense of where you are, Art Alley is on the left just off this view. The most obvious building is on the right, the Busy Bee Cafe. The site later became the home of the Palace. On the left you see a sign for books and toys. That was the original site of the Ferd Levi store! It later moved into the building that houses Cotton Restaurant today. See the trolley tracks going up the street? The old light poles back then were beautiful! I found this on eBay and just had to have it!
