Krewe Themes

Continuing on from yesterday’s topic, Each year’s parade has an overall “theme”. The themes are suggested and voted on by krewe members years in advance. No two year’s themes are alike. Each float has to go along with that year’s theme. Here are the past years parades and their themes:

Come and catch the Krewe of Janus parade tonight at 6 in the Twin Cities! Millions of throws will be up for grabs, everything from beads, stuffed animals to cups! I’ll be on one of the floats, so if you see me, yell, “Throw me sumthin’ sistah!”
