Earlier this month I found the below postcard for sale on Ebay and bought it. On the back it states: “Modern Duplex Apartment, home of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley J. Reid.” The Villreid Place appears to have been a small apartment complex at one time. It was located at the corner of North Fifth and K streets and the buildings appear to still be there! The ad below appeared in a 1942 Monroe paper.
