I bought this rare postcard off of eBay a couple of months back. This building stood in West Monroe at 401-403 Cypress Street. It started out as Vogue Cleaners in 1935 and in 1943 it became Unique Tuxedo Rental and Cleaners. They had several branches all over the Twin Cities and it was THE place in the area to rent a tuxedo! In 1970 it became Acme Cleaners & Tuxedo Rental. I don’t know when the building was torn down, but it is now the site of a parking lot for First Baptist Church in West Monroe.
