The Frances Hotel

This is my second photo, showing the Frances Hotel. Such a gorgeous building! I am so glad it was saved! I cannot for the life of me, figure out what that object is on the bottom right behind the cars!

    I bet it’s the edge of the facade of the building on the riverside corner of Jackson and Harrison – the shape reminds me of the pediment of 110 Saint John Street

    Is it the roof of the building across the street where the picture was taken?

    I agree that it appears to be a roof and eaves. On the far-right side is some kind of scrollwork decoration. May be an artifact from taking the picture (double exposure) or from printing the photo or maybe when the photo was scanned.
